Lastly, these perks are presently useable at only six Eldorado Resorts destinations around the country: Eldorado Reno Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino, Circus Circus Reno Hotel & Casino, Presque Isle Downs & Casino, Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort, and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs. These destinations amount to approximately 3,300 hotel rooms, 10,000 gaming machines (video lottery terminals and slot machines), 30 restaurants, and 300 table games.

Meanwhile, ONE Club could expand to other destinations in no time, so it is highly recommended to ask questions about a destination before expecting to reap some benefits.

Eldorado ONE Club Tiers

Similar to most player’s clubs, Eldorado ONE Club cardholders are categorized into five tiers. These are the Bronze, Silver, Gold, President, and the invite-only Chairman status.

How It Works

ONE Club works under the hood with a straightforward yet time-sensitive tier mechanism.

The Straightforward Aspect: ONE Club gives you tier points (the equivalent of what other clubs call tier credits) based on your activities at the participating Eldorado destinations; you start accumulating these tier points and once you reach a certain amount of tier points, you will be promoted to the next tier. This works for all tiers except the ultimate tier: Chairman.

The Time-Sensitive Aspect: While ONE Club rewards members with tier points, rewards, comps, special rates, exclusive offers, and other benefits for spending on services at participating Eldorado Resorts nationwide, qualifying for the next tier depends on both tier points and your anniversary date.

To expatiate, ONE Club performs its evaluation process on a 12-month basis. So, instead of just accumulating tier points, you need to accumulate with respect to time. If you do not meet the required tier points to qualify for the next tier, your current tier will turn out invalid. Meanwhile, the 12-month period depends on the date you signed up for the club or previously qualified for your current tier.

For instance, let’s say you visited an ONE Club Kiosk and signed up on January 1, 2018, and your profile was immediately activated. Your anniversary date is set to January 1 by default — and to qualify for the next tier and also keep your membership valid, you need to accumulate the required amount of tier points to upgrade to the next tier before January 1, 2021. You can, of course, qualify on April 1, September 20, or any other date before January 1, 2021. If, for instance, you qualified on September 20, 2018, your next deadline to move to the next tier will be September 20, 2021.

Summarily, this means ONE Club does not tolerate inactivity. You must accumulate tier points and accumulate before the stipulated timeframe to keep your membership.

Bronze Tier

Bronze is the first tier in Eldorado ONE Club. After signing up for ONE Club, the club will give you the Bronze status with tier point of 0. To qualify for the next tier, you need to have tier points of more than 499. With this tier, perks range from special access to the fitness center to complimentary show tickets, discounts, direct mail offers, invitations to special events, and other offers.

In addition, you will relish special offers on your birthday; free drawing tickets; access to the VIP reservations number; reward dollars redeemable for FREEPLAY and dining, and usable in the gift shops; ability to print airline boarding passes; days of bonus slot FREEPLAY multiplier; free personal check cashing/credit on approval; and discounted rooms, foods, and beverages.

Silver Tier

The Silver status starts with 500 tier points and ends with 3,999 tier points. In addition to everything the Bronze status has to offer, Silver members enjoy VIP parking at the car park, special casino hotel room rates, and tier-based promotions.

Gold Tier

With tier points of 4,000, 14,999, or any figure in-between, you will relish exclusive Gold benefits. These are Silver benefits in addition to discount rates at the spa; self-parking or preferred valet parking; free entry to weekly blackjack and slot tournaments; special birthday invitation; comp or discounted entry fees; no charge or discount hotel room offers; and discount hotel room rates for additional hotel rooms.

President Tier

The second highest tier is dubbed President and requires tier points of 15,000 or more. Add the perks you get with the Gold status to a 10 percent discount at gift shops; personalized executive host; birthday gift; limousine service to the establishment from the airport and vice versa; no charge show tickets and event invitations; special line at restaurants; and VIP registration and check-in.

Chairman Tier

What it takes to be an ONE Club Chairman is dedication and prolonged loyalty, and the benefits are the best you can get with Eldorado ONE Club. You simply qualify for everything a member with the President status gets alongside more astonishing perks: complimentary access to the spa; special turndown service; exclusive in-room amenities; concierge services; invitations to Chairman-only gaming, racing, and golf events; ski and golf discounts with preferred reservations; and meet and greet at VIP concerts.

However, the Chairman status is invitation-only, which means you cannot qualify with tier points — instead, ONE Club invites cardholders who it deems worthy. The exact requirements are not disclosed, but your spending and gaming activities are some apparent parameters.

Rumor has it that the required tier points are 40,000 as indicated on some Eldorado Resorts’ websites but since Chairman members exist through invitations exclusively, tier points are technically irrelevant to help you get invited. In contrast, this could mean ONE Club requires your tier credits to reach 40,000 before considering to award you the Chairman status or retain your President status.

Additional Info

Furthermore, all these perks are based on your activities and greatly vary per resort. For one, Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs in Ohio rewards Silver, Gold, President, and Chairman members with ten, 15, 20, and 25 percent gift shop discount on logo merchandise for cash purchases and show ticket discount on cash purchases, respectively. In addition, President and Chairman members savor 50 and 100 percent off credit card fees, respectively.

On the other hand, Eldorado Reno Resort Casino only gives President and Chairman members a ten percent discount to use in gift shops. As a result, we advise interested individuals to do some research on their preferred Eldorado Resort to understand the respective perks.

From our research, Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs offers some of the best perks which include preferred seating at entertainment events and buffet, free racing program per day, and discounts on golf.

Moreover, some perks can be utilized only when available or when space is free. Perks in this category are:

These include dining, entertainment, amenities, attractions, and others. While these activities will not qualify you for tier points, they earn you reward dollars which you can redeem for FREEPLAY, dining, racing, and in the gift shops. And in addition to the FREEPLAY offers based on your last 90 days history, you can also receive dining offers.

One thing is for sure: the more you spend and use your card, the more you get. And as a rule of thumb, gambling seems to award you more tier credits. The property opened as the Wheel Casino on February 15, 1961.^[3]

By 1962, the Wheel was closed, and Paul Perry agreed to buy it. Attorney Bill Boyd represented him in the transaction, in exchange for a stake in the property. Boyd brought in other investors: a fellow lawyer, his aunt, and his father, Sam Boyd, general manager of the Mint.^[4] They reopened it as the Eldorado Casino on July 1.^[3]

Around 1965, they acquired the adjacent Royal Club, doubling the Eldorado's size.^[5]

The Boyds took over ownership in 1966. Sam bought half of the property for $6,667 and Bill bought a quarter for $3,000, while another of the original investors, Joe Crowley kept the remaining quarter, until he was later bought out.^[3] The Boyds tried to emphasize Henderson's small-town feel in operating the casino.^[5]

A $1.5-million renovation in 1977 expanded the casino to 30,000 square feet (2,800 m²), to keep up with the town's growth.^[3]

Boyd Gaming acquired the casino in 1993.^[6] The company uses it as a training ground for executives, because its small size requires a hands-on management approach.^[4]

In the mid-2000s, Boyd Gaming spent $3 million on renovations.^[7]

In March 2020, the state's casinos were ordered to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nevada.^[8] In December 2020, Boyd agreed to sell the closed casino to DeSimone Gaming, the parent company of the Railroad Pass Casino.^[9] The Eldorado reopened as The Pass Casino on April 1, 2021.^[10] DeSimone had spent $7 million on a 45-day renovation which added various amenities, including two new restaurants, two bars, and an event space. The Mexican restaurant became Italian, and the 1950s diner became a cafe. The casino had over 350 gaming machines, 80 percent of which were new. A new sportsbook was also added,^[2][10] and was opened on April 29, 2021. It is operated by Circa Sports.^[11] DeSimone planned to add a hotel within a year and a half from the casino's opening.^[2]
